This is week 4 of the "Painting a Day for 30 Days Challenge. It has been great fun but as you can imagine, I am spending many long hours in the studio these days. I am doing these paintings along with a very full painting shedule for my shows and gallery commitments. When I am out of the studio it is amazing to me how often people that I run into refer to the painting challenge that I am working on.
On of the more unusual things happened last week in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We were there to hear my sweet little 3 year old grandson sing with his class in the nursery school spring program. After the program I ran into a former classmate of mine from my hometown, Broomall, Pennsylvania, about 2 hours from Harrisburg. We had not seen each other since attending high school together. He introduced me to his lovley wife and family and we had a minute to bore all of them with silly stories from years ago. Before I left he said, "Well, you must need to leave so that you can post today's challenge painting." I almost dropped my pretty little preschool program and replied, "Well yes, that is exactly what I will be doing this evening." He continued by saying, "I think that you are on painting 18 today. We all really enjoy seeing your paintings each day."
Welllllll, what can I say?
Life is good. Enjoy!
